Mojo Monday 98-Contest

Happy Mojo Monday:) Well here we are again and I am still not finished making cards. I was lucky enough to be able to pick up a new nestie at my local craft store. We don't usually get nesties that fast but we have the new pendant collection that is out, I was not fast enough to get the borderabilites that go along with this one but I have my name on the list. I am happy this week my sister-in-law is down from Ontario for a visit and we have not seen her for 9 years. This is the card that I will be sending back with her when she leave Sunday. I wasn't sure how I wanted this card to look but Becca Feeken always can inspire me, so this is taken from her Tulips for sale cards. I seem to be making a lot of cards lately with orange, so why not continue with this cards. This is the 5Th cards that I have made in my series of 7, I plan on extend that series has I get my new nesties. Here is the recipe: Cardstock by Bazzill, DSP by My Mind's Eye "Pretty Please" Spellibinders Lg Scalloped Octagons, and the new Tulip Pendant, the ribbon is from Fabricville, the pearls are from Dollarama, the sentiment is from Stampin' Up and the ink is Tea dye by Tim Holtz. I hope that you enjoyed looking, I am enjoying creating:)

OCC Challenge- color challenge

Well here we are again, this is 4 of 7. This is the challenge for OCC. I was helping my mother-in-law clean her house last night and we came across, some nesties that she forgot she had bought, I asked if I could borrow them to try. I was wonder what I was going to make for my next card, when I remembered OCC, so here we are for this weeks challenge, purple is may favorite color so this was not a hard color for me to use, I have lots of it in my craft room. Let me start by say that the idea for this card come from Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace, the card I cased is called It Is Not How Much.
Here is what I used to a make my card: Co'ordinated cardstock, Bazzill cardstock,DSP by My mind's Eye but I am not sure, the sentiment is from Stampendous "Encouraging Words", the ink is Elegant Eggplant from Stampin Up, the gemstones are from Hero Art and the ribbon is from Fabricville and I also used my favorite product spellbinders classic squares lg and Foliage frames. I hope that you enjoy looking and enjoyed creating:)
